Yes!
A touch-up is done 6-10 weeks after your initial appointment with all Permanent Makeup and the color does soften over time, so to keep your eyeliner tattoo or permanent eyebrows fresh, we recommend you come in every 1-3 years for a touch-up after your initial appointment and touch-up.
We cannot guarantee that it will ever fade out completely!
We use a primary numbing that sits on the skin for 20 minutes, and then a secondary numbing that is continuously used throughout the Permanent Makeup procedure.
Pain threshold is different per each individual, but most say it doesn't hurt at all, or they just feel a vibration. It's generally a 1-3 out of 10 pain scale at most.
We go over the goals for your permanent eyebrows and/or eyeliner tattoo and decide on shape and color together before starting your appointment, ample time is included to do this.
If you want, schedule a complimentary consultation before booking your appointment!
It really varies; permanent makeup fades over time.
Frequency of touch-ups depends on a number of factors including; your individual cellular turnover, sun exposure, chemical peels, retinol use, and how active you are. Every skin type holds onto pigment differently and breaks down at different rates. A general rule is 1-3 years before you would feel like you need a touch-up.
Please wait until you are back from your trip, or come in 1-2 months before-
There is a general healing process of 7-10 days, and your new permanent eyebrows, or eyeliner tattoo are not fully healed for 6-8 weeks.
*NO sun exposure, swimming, sweating, saunas, exfoliating acids or direct water
*Sun hats, glasses and sunscreen are your friend!
*Follow all aftercare instructions!
Wonderful!
While some people get a bit swollen from any Permanent Makeup, it is more rare. The color will look bolder in the beginning, and soften during the healing process. Then you will come back in 6-10 weeks for your Perfecting Session.
